Every year, the Cheong Maesil Plum Farm hosts two main festivities that attract tourist visitors and locals. In early April, we have the Maehwa (Plum Blossom) Festival and in late May/ early June, we have the Maesil (Plum) Festival.
Some of the activities in festivities include both professional and amateur cooking contests, outdoor evening concerts, family-oriented fruit picking activities, beauty & healthy living seminars, traditional kite-flying, traveling theatrical troupe performances, traditional folk culture performances and a traditional wrestling tournament.
